LAKELAND, FL -- With the internet changing the way consumers shop for big ticket items, San Juan Pools, the nation's largest manufacturer of fiberglass swimming pools and spas, is expanding its consumer inquiry system by launching a program called "Dexter Project" which will help San Juan dealers from coast to coast realize more business from cyberspace.
The "Dexter Project" gives San Juan's 500
independent authorized dealers an opportunity to set up and customize a website without committing a significant amount of time and capital for such an
undertaking.
Dealers begin the process by choosing a website name (for example: ourpoolcompany.sanjuanpools.com).
Once the name is chosen, a customized website including contact lead forms, a store map, company history, recent project photos, Aqua Magazine design
awards and more is created in less than 10 minutes
through the miracle of technology.
"Potential customers can access the sites
created under 'Dexter Project' instantly," San Juan's Marketing Director Keith VanTilburg said. "The beauty of this program is that dealers have complete control over their sites and can even link it to their
existing site if they are already in cyberspace."
With nearly 500 dealers, each with a minimum of
10 pages on their site, the San Juan website network
will contain 5,000 pages, all indexed for easy access
by the pool buying public. "If a consumer is interested in a swimming pool, they will be able to find the dealer(s) nearest them under this new system," VanTilburg said.
"Today's savvy consumers educate themselves and
shop anonymously on the web before committing to
purchase a big ticket item. This new initiative gives
all San Juan dealers a chance to be on the cutting
edge of technology," VanTilburg said.
San Juan dealers with an interest in establishing a
website under "Dexter Project" should call company headquarters at 1-800/535-7946. Prospective dealers
can also call this toll free number for more
information.
