Under LDS, all sales leads received at San Juan corporate headquarters are dispatched by e-mail directly to the dealer in closest proximity to the potential customer. At the present time, nearly 350 San Juan dealers with e-mail capabilities are participating in the program. An estimated 15,000 leads have been furnished to dealers since the program went into effect.

Officials at San Juan corporate headquarters use an Internet map to determine the dealer nearest the potential customer. LDS also includes a counter that records the number of leads furnished to each and every dealer.
